Epic Sci-Fi On A Grandiose Scale!

Tony Lindblom’s wrap up of the Source of Power Trilogy is just as engrossing and exciting as the first two books in this series. By now, fans of this trilogy have become familiar with Lindblom’s plotline and characters, allowing for an intimate understanding of the goals and aspirations driving this epic tale. As tragedy ensues, empires are tested, and several keys themes come to fruition—Not the least of which is the realization of Malkreth’s god-like powers and the imminent threat of his revenge.
With so many players on the board, along with the opportunity to time-travel, one would think it difficult, at best, to decipher the strategies and plotlines winding through this highly complex space opera. However, the author cultivates such an intimate bond between character and reader through the dissemination of background information and self-reflection that it becomes quite easy for one to immerse themselves in this elaborate space adventure driven by friendships, survival, and passion, highlighted with light humor.
“Origin of Reality” can work as a standalone read since the author provides a recap of the events that took place up until this point through one of his main characters. This novel is, however, best enjoyed when read in sequential order as part of the Source of Power Trilogy. With a multi-faceted plotline that is amplified by a cast of characters to whom readers can truly relate, Tony Lindblom’s “Origin of Reality”, along with the two preceding novels in the Source of Power Trilogy, are representative of epic Sci-fi on a grandiose scale. “Origin of Reality” does contain graphic violence, adult language, and adult situations. I highly recommend this read for older teens and adults who love immersive Sci-fi, imaginative space opera, and out-of-this-world, intergalactic adventures.
